Lady Susanne

Inspired by the Narnia, Prince Caspian film I wanted to create a new twist on the medieval bridal gown.  This gown features a gorgeous patterned silk damask in soft mocha and gold tones worn over a pale gold underskirt of silk dupion. The bodice is trimmed with ruched dupion and pearl beading detail which echoes traditional medieval styling. Satin ribbon laces the gown closed at the back.  Mock sleeves with trailing ’tippets’ in silk dupion which lace around the upper arm with satin ribbon create a striking feature.

The gown is worn with a chapel length veil scattered with pearls and the Aurora Tiara in silver with pearl and Swarovski crystal.
